- Painting is my passion, it's always been my pleasure and my work rolled into one. Having completed a degree in Fine Art in 2006, I have since taken up a three year residency at the Arches studio facility in Southampton, managed by 'A Space', to continue developing my practice into a long-term career path. I have 17 months remaining on the residency, which has been a very worthwhile decision, not least because of the networking opportunities that have arisen through it and general support. - Favorite Music:
- I don't often share a common taste in music with most people. I'm very selective. I hear a particular track and may only like that specific one done by a group, or whatever. If I compiled my own disk of favourite music - it would be a completely random mix of unrelated styles. And I'm far more interested in the feeling I get from a piece of music, than recognising the style, etc...if that makes any sense...it's just the way I am. Although I can say that I recently listened to a friend's Muse album, and am seriously interested in getting hold of it for myself...
- Favourite Writer:
- David Gemmel is one definite - very imaginative, his stories are vividly told...
- Favorite Artist:
- Van Gogh would be high on my list. In some ways I find myself emulating his style of painting without often realising it. But people frequently comment that my paintings remind them of Van Gogh..

Your profile looks really interesting - it would be great to see some more of your artwork, especially printmaking - what kind of printing do you specialise in?
Also how are you/who are you marketing your art to having achieved a residency at the Arches?
